- This episode starts with a cold open, akin to modern seasons of American Dad!
- Lois suggests gracing the table before breakfast and ends up making the whole family laugh. She then states that families who pray are losers.
- Stewie could not sleep well the previous night due to Meg masturbating, or having a "onesome" as he puts it.
- Brian walks into the dining room while Lois describes her dream, attempting to sneak out upon discovering what she's talking about, but gets caught and is forced to listen.
- Meg and Chris wear lockets containing cyanide pills, which they bite into, allowing them to pass out and avoid having to listen to Lois' dream summary.
- Stewie is unable to leave his high chair due to the strong seatbelt, so he instead uses his Return Pad to send himself and Brian onto the sinking RMS Titanic.
- A full moon is visible behind them, but the Titanic sank on a moonless night.[1]
- Peter backs out of the breakfast room and travels to Bob's Burgers so he can avoid having to hear his wife. While there, he comes across Bob and Homer Simpson, and orders black coffee with toast due to not having won any Emmys.
- According to Cleveland, he once lost an uncle to a "wife dream."
- Barbara wonders if Chris is diabetic given his size. Lois believes he is, despite stating that the Griffins don't take him to the doctor.
- The two witnesses to the oil spill were an oil-covered seagull and crab, although Tom suspects that the latter was eaten by the former.
- Carter's first suggestion to fix his image is to pay someone to do something worse, in hopes that the world will forget his mistake.
- Some other suggestions include a charity donation, a photo-op at an orphanage, or building a new Holocaust memorial. Carter misconstrues the latter as praising the Nazis.
- Bruce originally volunteered at the St. Agnes Orphanage since he mistook the second word for "anus."
- Carter has never heard of skipping before, and thus when he sees Tatum doing it, he mistakes it for her having Parkinson's.
- According to Tatum, a lot of the children are disguised little people evading the law, although they are easily distinguished by their bonnets and cigars. One of them remarks that his gang groped Judy Garland "something awful."
- Carter plans to grab a receipt for the adoption in case has a club leg. He insists on getting the receipt anyway even after learning she does not have one.
- Peter suggests that he could've let Carter take in Stewie if he wanted a little girl, a comment that Stewie takes offense to.
- Brian tends to roll over whenever he hears the word "belly," demanding belly rubs. Chris notes that he tends to get erections upon receiving such rubs.
- Lois claims that Carter didn't know her name until she was eight and never took her to the zoo in the 80s.
- Carter decides not to take his business call from Mr. Important until it's specified that it's Mr. Important from the massage parlor.
- Upon hearing about the zoo trip, Peter suggests that Chris might have been picked up from there, and wonders if they're planning to return him.
- Stewie's penguin plush was found lying around, and was originally covered in blood and semen.
- Chris gets the idea to split up to find Tatum, but takes the idea literally and splits himself into two.
- During the search, Brian meets a wolf who claims to have read Faster Than the Speed of Love, but it turns out to be a trick and he ends up getting mauled.
- Brian is tricked into entering the gorilla exhibit when they state that they've read his book too, but they maul him too, having stated off-screen that they didn't enjoy it.
- Peter attempts to do stand-up inside the hyena exhibit, but none of the occupants laugh at him due to their hyena president getting shot.
- Stewie yawns upon hearing that Tatum fell into the gorilla exhibit, but claims it wasn't on purpose.
- A zookeeper attempts to scoop Tatum up from above, but is mauled to death. One of the gorillas wears his face and sneaks out of the zoo.
- Stewie remarks that Lois' roots are easier to spot from above.
- Everyone is distracted from Lois' near-death experience after Peter points out a baby gorilla who is sneezing uncontrollably.
- While Lois details another bizarre dream she had, one woman refuses to back away, wanting to detail her own dream after hearing her out.
- After Lois was born, Babs was so jealous of the attention she got that she would sometimes stick Lois' head into the oven and attempt to cook her. Carter never told her this until now.
- While enjoying dinner with Tatum and Babs, Carter notes how difficult it is to hear each other due to the lengthy table, before stating that Tatum has to leave.
