Airplane

Airplane! is a 1980 American satirical comedy film directed and written by David Zucker, Jim Abrahams, and Jerry Zucker and released by Paramount Pictures. It stars Robert Hays and Julie Hagerty and features Leslie Nielsen, Robert Stack, Lloyd Bridges, Peter Graves, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Lorna Patterson. The film is a spoof of the disaster film genre.

In Death is a Bitch, the varied passengers on the plane, nuns, Girl Scouts, etc, are reminiscent of the film Airplane.

Peter slaps Lois in the bathroom, yelling “Get a hold of yourself,” from Airplane! in He's Too Sexy for His Fat.

Dr. Rumack is a character from the 1980 comedy Airplane!, portrayed by Leslie Nielsen. Rumack appears in Blue Harvest telling Han (Peter) "I just want to tell you both good luck, were all counting on you".

The scene where people line up to shake Stewie in Prick Up Your Ears recreates a scene from Airplane!

In Peter's Daughter, The scene where Stewie and Brian are renovating the run-down house, and becoming confused with the requirement to say "over" when using the walkie-talkie may be a distant reference to the sequence in the movie , where confusion is caused by the name of Captain Oveur, pronounced "over".

When Brian starts to lie about how he likes Loretta in Love, Blactually, Brian's nose starts to grow like Pinocchio's nose does. It is also a reference to the scene in the movie, Airplane!. Brian also repeats the line, "free to pursue a life of religious fulfillment", which is a line uttered by Dr. Rumack (Leslie Neilsen) in Airplane!. That is the scene where Dr. Rumack tries to convince the passengers, all is well on the plane.

Airport '07 has too may references to mention.
