George Alexander "Alex" Trebek (July 22, 1940 - November 8, 2020) was a game show host. Since 1984, he has been the host of the game show, Jeopardy!. He has appeared three times on Family Guy, and at least once, in "I Take Thee Quagmire", he voiced himself.
In "Brian: Portrait of a Dog", Peter Griffin was a contestant on the show, and buzzed in with an answer of "What is diarrhea?". Here he was voiced by Seth MacFarlane, reprising a similar gag he did for Life of Larry.
Mayor Adam West once appeared on the show, as seen in "I Take Thee Quagmire" claiming that, by saying "Kebert Xela" which is Trebek's name backwards, Trebek would be sent back to the Fifth Dimension where he belongs. This is a parody of the imp-like villain Mister Mxyzptlk from DC Comics' Superman, who is also returned to the Fifth Dimension by saying his name backwards.
Lois notes that Peter tends to say the wrong things at times in "Livin' on a Prayer". In a cutaway gag, Peter is shown getting the answer wrong on Jeopardy! and cursing.
Peter muffs an answer when he asks about his penis size in "Trump Guy".
