Arthur "Art" Metrano (September 22, 1936 - September 8, 2021) was an American actor of Greek-Turkish-Jewish-Sephardic ancestry, known for his role as Capt. Mauser in Police Academy 2 and Police Academy 3. He left the series due to a fall at home that seriously injured his spinal cord and left him disabled. He was also known for his frequent appearances on The Tonight Show in the early 1970s as "The Amazing Metrano", a "magician" performing absurd tricks, such as making his fingers "jump" from one hand to another, while constantly humming a theme song named "Fine and Dandy".

In Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story segment "Stu & Stewie's Excellent Adventure", Stu Griffin told his younger self about the disappointment when time-traveled to the time of Jesus Christ. There, Christ did Metrano's finger-jumping trick, humming "Fine and Dandy". In December 2007, he filed a lawsuit against Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, Seth MacFarlane, Steve Callaghan and Alex Borstein for copyright infringement and claimed damages in over two million dollars. On July 17, 2009, Judge Philip S. Gutierrez of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California granted Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp.’s motion to dismiss the case.[1]
