Backsie is one of Carrie's rescue dogs when she moves in with Quagmire following their engagement in "Must Love Dogs".
Carrie has a number of handicapped rescue dogs, but admits she's particularly fond of Backsie, noting that she's a fighter. Quagmire, who, against his nature has been pretending to like dogs, suggests she should quit fighting.
