  • Meg initially has a dream where a cool kid asks her what's up, before abruptly waking up.
  • Goldie is Meg's fifth goldfish to die this week. Her wastebasket is filled with the corpses of her previous goldfish.
  • Meg has a pet horse named Mr. Cloppers, who inexplicably is also inside a fishbowl, where he drowns.
  • Meg intends to make up for her deceased pets by eating half-eaten sandwiches from the dumpsters behind Quiznos Subs, but her plans are ruined when she is picked up by a garbage truck, whose drivers mistake her for a dumpster.
  • Peter's colleagues all had to turn in their cell phones after a bomb scare, which Peter may or may not have instigated.
    • Peter attempts another bomb scare to get Lois away from the TV, but his attempt fails.
  • Meghan McCain was replaced by a group of cats in a quincañera dress after she quit The View, but hardly anyone can tell the difference.
  • Peter and the guys once had a discussion on how to tell Chip and Dale apart.
  • Stewie initially mistakes a disheveled Meg for Post Malone.
  • Meg receives a letter from the University of Rhode Island, which she thinks is a letter of acceptance due to the size of the envelope. It turns out the school ran out of small envelopes and wanted to inform her that she did not get in.
