"Barbie Girl" is a 1997 song in the bubblegum pop genre by the Danish dance-pop group Aqua. The lyrics of the song are about Barbie and Ken, the world famous dolls by toy company Mattel, which led to a lawsuit brought out by Mattel against Aqua for making Barbie look like a sex symbol. The case was dismissed by the judge after being defended as "social commentary."[1]
In "Bill and Peter's Bogus Journey", Peter Griffin and Bill Clinton were playing Dance Dance Revolution at Chuck E. Cheese when Peter had to go pick up their pizza in the middle of a round. Quickly, Bill took over masterfully and sang along to the dancing of the song which was "Barbie Girl".
Peter sings "Barbie Girl" as Quagmire tries to remember the words to "Four Friends" in #JOLO", derailing his train of thought.
