Bea Arthur

Beatrice "Bea" Arthur (May 13, 1922 – April 25, 2009) was an American actress, comedian and singer whose career spanned seven decades. Arthur achieved fame as the title character Maude Findlay on the 1970s sitcoms, All in the Family and Maude, and as Dorothy Zbornak on the 1980s sitcom, The Golden Girls, winning Emmy Awards for both roles.

She plays Peter Griffin in Rolling Courage: The Joe Swanson Story in "Ready, Willing, and Disabled". She is voiced by Alex Rocco.

Alex Borstein portrays Arthur in a screen test for the movie, Showgirls, in Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show.

Peter heard a story from a stagehand that on a night that she was supposed to be filming an episode of The Golden Girls, she never attended, as she ended up in jail after a drunken escapade. He told this to the Las Vegas audience after he and the family performed the theme song on Family Guy: Live in Vegas.

The family watches The Cosby Show in "Peter's Sister", updated to show the entire cast and guest stars including Bea Arthur doped up after Bill Cosby's sex scandal became public.
