Plot:
When Lois sees Cleveland enjoying a day with his family, she suggests the Griffins do something together. But after her ideas fall flat, Peter suggests an old-fashioned movie night by renting a film from Blockbuster, rejecting the kids' idea to stream a film. However, when he discovers that the only Blockbuster still open is in Bend, Oregon, he loads up the family and they head cross country, despite their reservations and lack of preparation.
They eventually locate the Blockbuster, but when Peter discovers that he owes a massive late fee, they are forced to make a quick escape when he steals his VHS tape. Pursued by two shotgun-wielding employees, They temporarily manage to escape, but wreck their car in the process. Taking shelter in a cabin they find in the woods, they find that not only do they have the wrong tape in the box, but the employees catch up with them as well. As they face being shot execution-style, Peter apologizes to the kids for his constant screw-ups, which they admit have long been a source of amusement for the family. Just as the end approaches, the family is rescued by a fleet of Amazon drones, which had been tracking their movements, leaving Peter to note that not all streaming services are bad. As a gift for their adventure, Chris gets Peter a copy of the film he wanted, but he discovers that their television can't connect the VCR without an adapter. Lois cocks a shotgun and announces that the last Circuit City is open in St. Augustine, Florida. Jeff Bezos gets in a final word about being rich and bald.
