Bernard Sanders (born September 8, 1941) is an American politician and activist who has served as a United States senator from Vermont since 2007 and before that as a U.S. Representative. Although running as an independent, he usually aligns himself with the Democratic Party.
Bernie can be seen in the Congressional gallery as Donald Trump and Peter fight in "Trump Guy".
While traveling through Vermont in order to stop Stewie from committing euthanasia in "Cootie & the Blowhard", Brian passes Bernie Sanders hitchhiking. As he gets a chuckle out of this, he finds that Sanders has joined him in his car. He eventually vanishes as he notes that someone at Coachella must have mentioned his name three times.
