Hey all! As you know, 2021 will be the year of the Fandom/Gamepedia desktop skin redesign, called FandomDesktop. In order to help communities better prepare, understand, but especially get insight and be able to get involved by sharing their feedback, Fandom has been releasing blog posts with the latest updates on the design.
The latest reveal is "A deeper look at Navigation on FandomDesktop", which gives you some more insights and mock-ups for how search, profile submenu, and notifications will look, and some insights as to how the decision about the new local navigation came to be.
If you have a few minutes to spare, I strongly recommend giving it a read (click here). Should you have any questions or concerns about it, please do not hesita…
Hey all! I'm currently gathering feedback regarding the upcoming change to the desktop skin, called FandomDesktop, to help me understand any of the concerns and issues this community may face due to this change, so they can be properly addressed during testing and before we get to rollout. The change is introduced at large in this staff blog, which I advise everyone to read if you haven't already.
Some notable points:
- Light and Dark modes - A wiki can basically have two theme options, and users can pick their preference. Admins will be able to style both in ThemeDesigner.
- Fluid width - The content area can be expanded, and the right rail can also be collapsed, for a wider article page. This too will be user preference.
- Global navigation - Instea…
Hey all! I am super glad that I get to reach out for this and ask for your input! Some of you may have already read the blog announcement on Community Central about this, but for those who haven't: Fandom announced that it would focus the upcoming 2 weeks on an all-hands quality of life project -- read "a two-week bug squashing effort"!
So my question to you all is: are there perhaps any bugs that have been annoying you since whenever UCP came along? This project is the perfect opportunity for you to get the word out about those things! Just drop your report in the comments here, leave me a message, or even reach out to me via Discord if you're more comfortable doing that, and I'll do my best to get your voice heard. These don't have to be t…
I'm not sure how useful this will prove (because I don't know where it would go), but I'll say it anyway, that Disney+ UK is launching Star as part of its package on February 23, which is basically Hulu for the UK, allowing what they consider the more mature stuff inappropriate outside of that (even though they already show Runaways, but whatever). In the trailer, they show some clips of Family Guy, one of which includes Peter acting like Scrooge McDuck jumping in his Money Bin.
18 seasons have been added. They also have 16 seasons of American Dad.
besides the griffins, should we replace most of the characters images with transparent pngs of them
Does anyone know which episode an elderly woman shouts down from the bedroom to her husband and says something like 'We just got a mention on the Family Guy'? I think it was a recent (ish) episode. It's a nod to Howard's mother from the The Big Bang Theory. I think the man then shouts back someting like 'Is that the one with the alien?' She replies with the line 'No, that's the American Boy!'
I have been scouring the internet trying to find a scene that I remember that was a bit from Blade Runner. It's Stewie and he says "Time... to die..." I cannot recall the episode or any other details and I'm starting to think I imagined this scene??? Can someone help me figure this out??
I haven't bothered to keep up with Television and Films Season 17 this season so if anyone wants to go back though the earliest episodes and find characters watching non-newscast television, movies or computer screens, they are welcome to do so and add them to the page. Just please stick with the existing style. --Buckimion (talk) 20:56, November 12, 2018 (UTC)
I first saw evidence against this on his page where it says "On the commentary of "Road to Rhode Island" he confirmed that he sees in black and white". I have no access to that commentary, so I don't know for sure if it's real; and I believe I've found conflicting evidence. When Brian regains consciousness after he sets time back into moving forward we briefly see things from his POV and everything is in color. Also, Brian himself wouldn't have confirmed it, which makes me a little suspicious of whoever wrote said comment. General Ironbeak (talk) 21:12, January 25, 2014 (UTC)
