Catherine II (born Sophie of Anhalt-Zerbst; 2 May 1729 in Szczecin – 17 November 1796), most commonly known as Catherine the Great, was Empress of Russia from 1762 until 1796—the country's longest-ruling female leader. Under her reign, Russia grew larger, its culture was revitalised, and it was recognized as one of the great powers worldwide. Although she died by what was declared to be a stroke, unfounded rumors began circulating that she died having sex with a horse.[1]
Peter insists that Pawtucket Pat will go down in history just like Catherine the Great, despite evidence that Brian finds that he was a murderer and a thief in "Pawtucket Pat". A cutaway gag shows Catherine trying to explain the good work she's done, but a heckler in the crowd only wants to know about the horse rumors. After yet another denial, a horse dressed in finery steps forward and asks her if there's a problem.
