Carlos Irwin Estevez (born September 3, 1965), known professionally as Charlie Sheen, is an American actor. His character roles in films have included Chris Taylor in the 1986 Vietnam War drama, Platoon, Jake Kesey in the 1986 film, The Wraith, and Bud Fox in 1987 film, Wall Street. His career also included more comedic films, such as Major League, the Hot Shots! films, and Scary Movie 3 and Scary Movie 4. On television, Sheen is known for his roles on two sitcoms: as Charlie Crawford on Spin City, and as Charlie Harper on Two and a Half Men. He was fired from his role on Two and a Half Men by CBS and Warner Bros. on March 7, 2011.

Two and a Half Men, which also stars Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones, has been parodied on Family Guy in "North by North Quahog" and "Ocean's Three and a Half". In the latter, he filmed the episode in front of a Live Studio Ostrich.

Men's plotline of "a little boy who lives with Charlie Sheen" was called "remarkably obscene" by Brian and Stewie in the song "You Can Find It on TV" at the 59th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, which Sheen was in attendance for. He found the jab amusing.

In "Brian Griffin's House of Payne", he, Cryer, and Jones attended the Class Holes! premiere party at the Griffin home. They attended to see how much the show, produced by Brian Griffin, a critic of their show, would tank.

He also appears as one of the panelists on Hollywood Squares in "If I'm Dyin', I'm Lyin'".

He was mentioned in "Model Misbehavior".

In "Ocean's Three and a Half", Chris Parson provided his voice. In "Brian Griffin's House of Payne", Sheen provided his own voice.

Seth MacFarlane has said his experience with Sheen on Family Guy was perfectly pleasant, but felt that under the circumstances it was right for Warner Bros. to fire Sheen from Two and a Half Men.[1]

He was the subject of The Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen which aired September 19, 2011. His roastmaster was Seth MacFarlane.[2]
