  • In addition to Van Halen's "Panama", Ernie the Giant Chicken taunts Peter with Stephen Bishop's "On And On".
  • Brenda Quagmire, Ross Fishman, and Mrs. Wilson appear in Peter's hallucination of deceased characters, despite not having been shown as deceased.

This results in Peter having a hallucination over him and Homer going in and out of the bush, with Homer declaring it a meme when he does so, but Peter claiming it has the opposite effect when he does it. • As the family paint the walls during the shuttle explosion, it's not clear if this refers to the 1986 or 2003 explosion.
  • This is the second time where Peter falls into a coma. The first was "Are You There God? It's Me, Peter".
  • Peter says he's never read any books, but reads three stories each in "Three Kings" and "High School English".
