Dead Format Records is the record store where Jesus Christ worked during his most recent disguise work. That was until Peter Griffin recognized him in "I Dream of Jesus". Jesus presumably quit after he was outed.
They once had 63 copies of "Surfin' Bird" in stock, but sold them all at once to "a dog and a baby".
While not a completely "dead" format, records have been replaced largely by CDs. It is still possible to find records produced by independent music groups.
