"Dominick the Donkey" is a Christmas song written by Ray Allen, Sam Saltzberg and Wandra Merrell in 1960. The song describes a donkey who helps Santa Claus bring presents to children in Italy.
In "Griffin Winter Games", when Peter is captured in North Korea after getting kcked off of a train, Lois complains that he is always ruining their vacations, such as the time they went to La La Land. In a scene from the musical comedy, Peter complains to Ryan Gosling about having requested "Dominick the Donkey" about an hour previously. As a resigned Ryan complies, Peter sings along.
