The Dukes of Hazzard is an American television series that originally aired on the CBS television network from 1979 to 1985. The show followed Bo and Luke Duke, two cousins living in a rural part of the fictional Hazzard County, Georgia, racing around in their modified 1969 Dodge Charger, The General Lee, evading corrupt county commissioner Boss Hogg and his inept county sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane.
Waylon Jennings reprised his role as narrator in "Chitty Chitty Death Bang", where Peter Griffin fought with a boy over a watch, and in "To Love and Die in Dixie". In the latter episode, Peter paints his car to resemble the General Lee, the car on the show, to go with the family's relocation to the Deep South. When he tells Brian to jump in, Brian crashes through the window, because Peter forgot to roll the windows down. This left Brian unconscious. In "The Fat Guy Strangler", Brian gets his revenge by throwing a rock at Peter while in the James Woods.
In "I Take Thee Quagmire", Peter went through a Daisy Duke phase, which disgusted Brian and Stewie.
