Elvis Aaron Presley (January 8, 1935 – August 16, 1977) was an American singer and actor, often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "the King".

The musical number "Honestly Sincere" in "New Kidney in Town" is from the play and film Bye Bye Birdie, which was inspired by the story of Elvis Presley.

In a 1956 "pilot" episode of Family Guy in ""Family Guy" Through the Years", the Griffin family and the neighbors gather to watch Elvis appear on The Ed Sullivan Show, with Donna shocked to find out that Elvis is white.
