- The title is a reference to the Jimi Hendrix song "Foxy Lady".
- Also when Lois gets the job, the man at the TV station tells her to, "Run home as fast as you can". This references the scene in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory when Charlie first realizes he's found the last golden ticket. You can hear the melody for "I've got a Golden Ticket" playing in the background as Lois runs home.
- Stewie's anger about the teleprompter text being wrong is a reference to an actual video of Bill O'Reilly as an anchor on Inside Edition.[1]
