Game of Thrones, often abbreviated as GoT, is an American fantasy drama television series created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. It is an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, George R. R. Martin's series of fantasy novels.

When Stewie realizes that Lois is going to be a significant part of "Hot Shots", he reminds the audience that GoT is on.
A woman complains about Peter watching GoT on a flight with the guys in "Passenger Fatty-Seven".
Peter and the guys watch the Bone Zone in "Gronkowsbees", which features only the sex scenes in television episodes. A split screen features Lizzy Caplan having sex in Masters of Sex while an albino nails a woman on Game of Thrones.
In "The Peter Principal", Brian recalls being on the night watch and that opening a bed & breakfast couldn't be any worse than when he joined it.
Peter incorporates elements from GoT into "Emmy-Winning Episode" including a white walker and a dragon in an attempt to win a drama Emmy.
Holden and his fate in "Don't Be a Dickens At Christmas" are a reference to Hodor in Game of Thrones and the 6th season episode "The Door", in which the latter's death while being urged to "hold the door" causes a mental link to his younger self to result in mental damage. Peter notes that his friend Holden died before GoT aired.
Peter's ringtone of a woman screaming from Game of Thrones in "The Woof of Wall Street" is taken by the guys to be of multiple different scenes.
Cinemax tries to upstage HBO's Game of Thrones with Boob Dragons in "Throw It Away".
2019's Emmy screener attempts to steal votes from Game of Thrones. "Due to a printing error, if you wish to vote for Game of Thrones, please check the Family Guy box on the animation ballot," the screener reads. Interestingly, the artwork includes a Starbucks cup, a notorious gaff that occurred in the final episodes.[1] Executive Producer Richard Appel notes that the artwork was long finished before the episode even aired.
When Lois is rudely pushed aside while meat shopping in "Customer of the Week" by another customer, Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane from GoT smashes the woman's face into mush so Lois can continue.
In "Meg Goes to College", a cutaway involves the previously mentioned Starbucks coffee cup.
The guys watch House Hunters: Westeros in "Family Cat", in which a character disregards warnings about a home's deficiency and is forced to do a walk of shame because of a strict Homeowners Association.
In "HBO-No" the cast of Family Guy did an outright parody of Game of Thrones even referencing the Starbucks coffee cup once again.
