"Good Morning, USA" is the theme song of Seth MacFarlane's other show, American Dad!. The original opening sequence was parodied in the episode "Foreign Affairs" with Joe Swanson in place of Stan Smith. Interestingly, instead of having Walter Murphy and his orchestra rerecord the theme song, it has Joe singing along to the instrumental end credit version of the song. It was later parodied in "The Movement" with Meg taking Stan's place with alternate lyrics, but Stan and Roger interrupt midway through to tell her to shut up.

Lyrics
"Foreign Affairs"
Joe: Good morning, USA!
I gotta feelin' that it's gonna be a wonderful day!
The sun in the sky has a smile on his face
And he's shining a salute to the American race!
Oh, boy, it's swell to say
Good morning, USA!
Choir: Good morning, USA!!!
"The Movement"
Meg: Good morning, USA!
Buh-da-ba-ba Stan's the dad and the alien's gay!
And then there's a fish and a boy and a girl!
Stan: Hey, shut up, Meg!
Meg: Oh, so it's just going to be the same?
Stan: Yep!
Roger: Yeah!
