Gremlins

Gremlins is a 1984 American horror comedy film directed by Joe Dante, released by Warner Bros. The film is about a young man who receives a strange creature called a Mogwai as a pet and names it Gizmo, which then spawns other creatures who transform into small, destructive, evil monsters. This story was continued with a sequel, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, released in 1990.

In "The Tan Aquatic with Steve Zissou", Peter Griffin feeds a mogwai a drumstick after midnight, causing it to turn into Fran Drescher, whose head Peter then microwaves.

In "Internal Affairs", Peter and Quagmire watch Gremlins on Quahog Channel 5 at The Drunken Clam as part of Movie and a Bath With a Guy Named Lou.

Another Mogwai appeared in "Valentine's Day in Quahog" with all of Brian's ex-girlfriends and gets offended by him.

Peter cites possibly being eaten by gremlins as his justification for refusing to eat healthy in "Saturated Fat Guy".

When Cleveland gets wet in "The Unkindest Cut", gremlins appear from his back.

When trying to restore Stewie's DNA in "Baby Stewie", Brian accidentally turns him into a gremlin-like creature.
