"I'm Dressed Like a Cat" is a misinterpretation of the Paula Abdul song, "Opposites Attract," which is famous for its music video where Paula dances with a cartoon cat named MC Skat Kat.
In "The Father, the Son, and the Holy Fonz", footage of the live-action Abdul is superimposed over new animation of Peter Griffin (with cat makeup on) taking the place of MC Skat Kat. Abdul actually rerecorded her vocals for the episode.
