The Imperial Stormtroopers are fictional soldiers from George Lucas's Star Wars universe. Stormtroopers are the personal army of Emperor Palpatine and of his commanders, carrying out the will of their superiors without questioning.
They are portrayed in collective groups of varying organizational sizes ranging from squads to legions, and, for some, their armor and training is modified for special operations and environments.
In "And the Wiener is...", a Stormtrooper is seen shooting at a target of Luke Skywalker and missing it several times.
In an installment of "What Really Grinds My Gears" for Quahog 5 News in the first Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story segment, "Stewie B. Goode", one of the things that irks Peter Griffin is not being able to find the droids he's looking for. A couple of Stormtroopers viewing the telecast agree.
Family Guy's parodies of the original trilogy, Blue Harvest, Something, Something, Something, Dark Side, and It's A Trap!, have numerous Stormtroopers. Some have business cards, and all are recruited through the video, Join the Empire.
