Daniels is an inspector for the health department that Peter calls in an effort to get Cleveland fired from the Pawtucket Brewery in "Unzipped Code".
When a wardrobe malfunction during a calendar shoot costs Cleveland his postal worker job, his knowledge of the city streets enables him to quickly find new employment with the Pawtucket Brewery. He is rapidly promoted over Peter, who becomes a laughing stock at home and at work. In an effort to sabotage Cleveland, he places a dead rat into a beer tank and notifies the health inspector. However, upon inspection, there is no rat found in the tank, as Cleveland had found it previously thanks to due diligence. For his effort in sabotaging a tank of beer, Peter is fired, but Cleveland goes to bat for him and gets his job back before resigning himself.
