James Earl Jones (January 17, 1931 - September 9, 2024) was an American actor of stage and screen, well known for his deep basso voice. To modern audiences, he was known for providing the voice of Darth Vader in the Star Wars franchise and the tagline for CNN.
Jones is shown auditioning for the role of Vader in "Go, Stewie, Go!". His large size prompts the casting director to note they would use his voice but not in the costume.
