Jane Fonda (born December 21, 1937) is an American actress, known for her roles in Barbarella, Cat Ballou, Klute, and Coming Home.
In "Take This Job and Love It", Quagmire tells the story of how, in the 1980s, he invented aerobics, and appeared on The Tonight Show to promote it. Jane, who is also appearing on the show to promote her film 9 to 5, decides to steal Quagmire's idea, and sabotages filming of a Quagmire exercise tape by stealing his leg warmers, leading him to perform horribly due to his freezing calves. After Quagmire's workout career ends in disaster because of Jane, she appears before him to gloat about successfully ripping him off before the pair get into a political argument.
