Jeffrey Warren "Jeff" Daniels (born February 19, 1955) is an American actor, musician and playwright. Most notably, Daniels is also known for his roles in movies such as Speed, Terms of Endearment and RV with Robin Williams. He is also on HBO's The Newsroom, which earned him a Primetime Emmy Award.
