Joanie Loves Chachi is an American television spin-off of the popular American sitcom Happy Days that was originally broadcast on ABC from March 23, 1982 to September 13, 1983. It stars Scott Baio and Erin Moran as the titular Chachi Arcola and Joanie Cunningham, respectively.
A clip of the show is seen on TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes in "Death Has a Shadow". Baio, as Chachi, tries to recite the tongue twister "Susie sells sea shells by the sea shore" and is mauled by a bear.
When The Drunken Clam is closed following the death of Horace in "Save the Clam", the guys are stuck at Peter's house drinking and watching Joanie Loves Chris Brown on television.
On the show, Art Metrano played Chachi's uncle Rico Mastorelli, who was the band's manager and helped Joanie and Chachi advance in their careers. Metrano would later sue Family Guy for stealing his act, or as he claims. The suit was later dismissed.
