Joseph Charles John "Joe" Piscopo (born June 17, 1951) is an American comedian and actor best known for his work on Saturday Night Live.
In "Meet the Quagmires", Peter Griffin says that not taking his wife-in-limbo Lois to the movies is worse than the time he gave Joe Piscopo a barbell set. It then shows Griffin and Piscopo in a room with workout equipment. Peter tells him not to overdo the weightlifting. Joe tells him not to worry. Joe became an avid weightlifter, packing on lots of muscle at the end of his stand-up career.
