Ramseysparents

John & Patricia Ramsey were the parents of JonBenét Patricia Ramsey (August 6, 1990 – December 25, 1996), an American child beauty pageant star who was discovered murdered in her home in Boulder, Colorado in 1996. The six-year-old's body was found in the basement of the family home nearly eight hours after she was reported missing. She had been struck on the head and strangled. The case, which after several grand jury hearings remains unsolved, continues to generate public and media interest.

Colorado law enforcement agencies initially suspected both Ramsey's parents and her brother. However the family was eventually exonerated in 2003 when DNA taken from the victim's clothes proved they were not involved.

JonBenét's first name is a portmanteau of her father's first and middle names, John Bennett; her middle name is the first name of her mother, the late Patricia "Patsy" Ramsey. JonBenét was enrolled by her mother in a variety of different beauty pageants in several states.

In "Brian Wallows and Peter's Swallows", Peter mentions how good he is at cheering people up, like the time he vowed to find the killers of JonBenét Ramsey to her parents as they nervously try to convince him that it isn't necessary.

When Peter tries to win back his kids after being declared an unfit parent due to being mentally challenged in "Petarded", he names off some other unfit parents and believes the Ramsey's still have a child left.

In "Chick Cancer", Stewie refers to his then-wife Olivia as 'JonBenét' when he complains about her taking too long to put her makeup on.

When Stewie protests his entry into the Little Miss Texas Pageant in "Boys Do Cry", he comments that the talent show is a one way ticket to a semen-stained death in the basement.

In "Grumpy Old Man", Peter states it would have been better if John Bennett Ramsey would've retired, confusing his determination to prove his innocence for work.
