Kara Vallow is credited as a Producer of Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show. She has been involved with Seth MacFarlane's career since he worked at Hanna Barbara. She was the line producer of Johnny Bravo, a show that Seth wrote for during his time there. Kara was one of Seth's first choices to produce Family Guy in 1999, but she was not available due to her commitments to produce the Dilbert animated series. Once that show concluded, she quickly joined the staff of Family Guy in 2001.
Vallow also produced 3-South, an animated show created by Family Guy writer and eventual co-executive producer Mark Hentemann.
Kara has also been featured in commentaries for Family Guy episodes, including the first Star Wars themed episode "Blue Harvest".
