
Lawrence Gene David (born July 2, 1947) is an American comedian, writer, actor, and television producer, known for co-creating Seinfeld with Jerry Seinfeld, on which David was head writer and executive producer for the first seven seasons. Other work includes Curb Your Enthusiasm, which he created and stars in as a semi-fictionalized version of himself, Fridays, and writing briefly for Saturday Night Live.
