LeVar Brown is Cleveland's father and was a significant character on The Cleveland Show. He was married to Evelyn Brown who was reported deceased in "Baby Stewie".
In "Tales of Former Sports Glory", Cleveland explains falling in love with baseball after his dad took him to a game in Cuba, where they personally got to meet Che Guevara.
Prior to his first proper appearance, he made a crowd scene cameo in "No Giggity, No Doubt", alongside most of The Cleveland Show cast.
