Elizabeth Ann Smart (born November 3, 1987) is an American woman who survived a nine-month kidnapping in 2002 and is now a political activist. She is currently a Mormon missionary in France.
According to an interview with her parents, Lois and Ed, in "You May Now Kiss the...Uh...Guy Who Receives", she now plays the harp and writes songs, mostly about rape, due to the trauma of the kidnapping.
