Plot:
The Chuckle Coop

Lois eagerly awaits a girls' night with her friends while forcing Peter to stay home and watch Stewie. However, when Peter's shenanigans go awry again, she is forced to miss the 90s nostalgia concert at the Squatty Potty Center. The group heads to The Tipsy Shrimp for a drink, where they discover that it's open mic night. After mocking Seamus' poor attempt at standup, Lois is encouraged to take to the stage, channeling her frustration and deriving humor from Peter's antics, which garners a lot of laughs. She then spends several weeks performing standup around town and lands a special on regional TV.

Sad Peter

Eventually, however, Peter learns from the guys that Lois has been mocking him for money and is offended by it. Vowing to not be her fool again, he adopts a more straight-laced lifestyle and keeps it up long enough to where Lois' special is in jeopardy. She attempts to get around it by making jokes about other people in her life, but the audience is unamused and nearly attacks the stage. Feeling guilty, Peter defends his wife and drives the rioters away, before the two hurriedly reconcile due to them being short on runtime.
