Maurice Richard Povich (born January 17, 1939) is an American television personality best known for his tabloid talk show, Maury. The show was best known for its segment in which guests determine whether they are really their children's biological parents.
In "Faith No More", Jesus Christ reveals that he knows Joseph isn't really his father, having taken a paternity test some time ago. The subsequent cutaway shows Maury evaluating Joseph's fatherhood status on live TV, revealing that he isn't the father, much to Joseph's glee and Mary's disappointment.
