  • McBurgertown is a parody of worldwide fast-food company McDonald's and similar fast-food multinational chains.
  • The cow’s line "Including... my beloved wife" is a direct quote from the character played by Montalbán in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
  • When Peter is helping the fireman he says "With great mustache comes great responsibility" which is a reference to Spider-Man.
  • Before Peter goes into McBurgertown to rescue the owner, he is shown with a fireman's hat which has the number 57 on it in an odd shape. This is a reference to Heinz.
