Mr. Potato Head is an American toy brand consisting of a plastic model of a potato "head" to which a variety of plastic parts can attach, typically ears, eyes, shoes, hat, nose, pants and mouth. The toy originally used a real potato to attach the accessories. It was soon joined by the creation Mrs. Potato Head and other models as well. The pair figure prominently in the Toy Story film franchise.
While fixing Peter's liposuction in "He's Too Sexy for His Fat", Dr. Hartman leaves his head in the shape of a Mr. Potato Head.
Stewie replaces his severed ear with one from Mr. Potato Head in "Brian Sings and Swings".
In "April in Quahog", Peter sits in the jury in which a blood-splattered Mr. Potato Head is presented as evidence.
In "Save the Clam", Lois threatens to throw away Peter's collection of Mr. Potato Head if he does not come out of The Drunken Clam.
In "Fighting Irish", Peter tries to disguise himself as Mrs. Potato Head to draw out Liam Neeson for a fight.
In "A 'Stache from the Past", Peter decides to get a reverse mortgage on the Griffin Home to spend $600 of a Mr. Potato Head from Dr. Hartman, who used it to study anatomy in medical school. When Lois discovers this, she finds he is unable to return it because he wrote on the box.
