Neil deGrasse Tyson (born October 5, 1958) is an American astrophysicist, cosmologist, author, and science communicator. In 2014, he hosted the television series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, a reboot of Carl Sagan's 1980 series Cosmos: A Personal Voyage produced by Seth MacFarlane.
Neil was credited as a scientific consultant for "The Big Bang Theory" and provides his own voice in "Scammed Yankees", providing a discourse after observing two stars commenting on Brian striking out with Patty.
Neil also stops in "Prescription Heroine" to explain that Lois folding of the screen is not possible, and prepares to spend an hour of FOX' money to explain why.
