Nugget is the adult son of Ernie the Giant Chicken, whom Meg dates in "The Chicken or the Meg".
After the two meet on the reality dating show, Sex Farm, Nugget and Meg instantly form a connection, which lasts even after being eliminated and removing their disguises. Knowing their fathers wouldn't approve, they decide to date in secret until Nugget accidentally reveals the relationship to Peter by sneaking into Meg's room. Given Peter's disapproval, the two move out together, and Meg is accepted into the chicken family. Ultimately, the two break up after Ernie forces Meg to choose between loving her father and loving his son. Nugget is later revealed to be gay, as evidenced by his text exchanges with small chickens.
