Plot:
After Brian's excessive barking disturbs Quagmire's art project, the latter files a complaint to the authorities. Brian is tasked with wearing a shock collar until he can get his habit under control. He tries to keep his cool, but various stimuli get in the way. Fed up with Quagmire's taunting, Brian sneaks a shock collar onto him as payback. The two are stuck speaking quietly until Quagmire is attacked by the very coyotes Brian was warning the neighborhood about earlier. Brian baits them into mauling him, using the shocks from his collar to frighten them off, and swears to continue protecting his neighbors, even if he dislikes some of them.
Meanwhile, after Lois expresses worry about Chris' weight and blood pressure, she asks Principal Shepherd to sign him up for a sport. After he fails at several, Chris experiences a sudden urge to defecate, and unintentionally discovers his talent for speedwalking during his trek to the bathroom. Chris becomes a star athlete and starts to become the life of the party on Lois' walks with her fellow moms, but eventually overshadows his mother to the point where her friends start taking walks with him and excluding her. Annoyed, Lois challenges Chris to a one-on-one race in hopes of winning back Donna and Bonnie. She lags behind, but Chris throws the match for her, stating that she deserves her friends more than he does.
