Pawtucket Patriot Ale is the local brand of beer in Quahog, Rhode Island. Brewed at Pawtucket Pat's brewery, it is Peter's drink of choice. Its symbol, The Pawtucket Patriot appears on the label and in advertising. The name "Pawtucket" comes from the town with the same name. After the Happy-Go-Lucky Toy Factory becomes defunct, Peter drifts for a while before getting his current job brewing Pawtucket Patriot Ale.
In "I Am Peter, Hear Me Roar", the advert shows hot women were sun bathing, putting some sun lotion and taking their bikini bras off with the motto "If you buy it, hot women will have sex in your back yard."
A drunken Quagmire tries to punch the "label guy" on his bottle of ale after he thinks he is trying to hit him first in "Save the Clam".
In "The Simpsons Guy", it is discovered that Pawtucket Patriot Ale is just Duff beer with a new label pasted on it. Despite judge Fred Flintstone finding they are both an imitation of his Budrock, the Pawtucket Brewery loses the copyright infringement case and faces being closed until it is found that The Simpsons characters don't want to bother coming to Quahog to shut it down.
