Randall Stuart "Randy" Newman (born November 28, 1943) is an American singer and songwriter known for his oft-humorous and satirical pop songs.
He appeared in "Da Boom" in a post-apocalyptic day, singing about everything he saw in a song entitled "Left Foot, Right Foot" which greatly annoyed the Griffins and is knocked unconscious when Lois chucks an apple at him.
He also appears in Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, as the composer for a supposed Disney film entitled The Littlest Bunny, revealed to be Coming Soon prior to the showing of the Griffins' straight-to-DVD movie.
Chris, as Luke Skywalker, sings a duet with himself of Randy's "My Little Buttercup" in "Something, Something, Something, Dark Side".
Chris and Stewie select Randy's "I Love L.A." for their video of their squirrel's first steps in "Boys & Squirrels".
"Blue Shadows On The Trail", a song by Newman from The Three Amigos, is sung by Wild West and Peter at the conclusion of "Wild Wild West".
Randy provides the theme song for Peter's spy adventure Diamonds are Expensive in "Take This Job and Love It".
Randy is voiced by Will Sasso in his early appearances and by Josh Robert Thompson in his latter.
