Rapid Dave is a cartoon character Peter Griffin creates in Padre de Familia. Tired of immigrants invading children's cartoons, Peter creates him as an American equivalent to Speedy Gonzalez. He appears to be a rat from the Upper West Side of New York City. Sylvester tell's Dave "I've got you now, mouse!" to which Rapid Dave dryly replies "Oh yeah? Well, up yours cat!", after which he runs away yelling "Quickly! quickly! quickly! run fast! run fast!" as translated from Speedy's taglines. In this cartoon, it is Sylvester the Cat from Loony Tunes/Merry Melodies chasing him untill Rapid Dave narrowly escapes.
