  • In Meg's fantasy, she's Eva Perón, the wife of Argentinian dictator Juan Perón who, despite being popular with their people, were overthrown. Eva's story is the subject of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Evita and subsequent film.[2]
  • The opening scene parodies the death of Charles Foster Kane in Citizen Kane.
  • The scene when Stewie stops limping is a reference to the end of The Usual Suspects.[3]
