Charles Robert Redford Jr. (born August 18, 1936) is an American actor, director, and activist, notable for his work in Barefoot in the Park, Inside Daisy Clover, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting, The Way We Were and All the President's Men.
In 1972, Redford appeared in Jeremiah Johnson. A clip of him nodding is often used as a reaction image indicating a form of approval. This clip appears in "LASIK Instinct" with a note that the Family Guy writers tried to use this clip for three weeks.
As part of his Halloween costume in "Must Love Dogs", Peter dresses as the same meme.
