Smitty is a Boston firefighter.
When Peter and the guys get hooked on party busses in "No Giggity, No Doubt", they crash Smitty's bachelor party bus by posing as firefighters themselves. When Smitty is called up to stand on a chair by two sexy girls to celebrate his last night of being single, he is decapitated when they pass under a bridge. Despite this, he is still able to rescue Peter, Quagmire, Courtney and Meg from a forest fire accidently started by Quagmire.
