Sophie is a pregnant feral cat that Peter brings home to the family in "Are You There God? It's Me, Peter" when he sets out to prove to God that he can be a good family man.
As Sophie tries to escape from Peter, she shreds him with her claws leading him to suggest going to the emergency room to spend more time as a family.
