Technically, Brian did make a move on her. She and Brian did kiss sometimes before she cheated on Brian. She must've not catch any of that, only believing that wanting to have sex with her is a sign that he's interested in her. In fact, refusing sex isn't necessarily a sign of being in a friend zone.
